Veterans Memorial Community Center is a 45,000-square-foot public recreation and cultural facility located near The Arbors and The Willows villages of Summerlin. Opened in 2000, the center was funded through Howard Hughes and is owned and operated by the City of Las Vegas.The facility includes approximately 20,000 square feet of classrooms and workshop space, a full-court gymnasium, a fitness area with cardiovascular and strength equipment, and a dance and aerobics area. Outdoor amenities include a sand volleyball court and children's play area with picnic ramadas. The adjacent Pavilion Center Pool provides public aquatic recreation, with a new Olympic-size pool scheduled to open in 2026 according to the July 2026 Summerlin Community Factbook.Unlike Summerlin's private resident centers, this is a public city facility.
