The Hills holds a special place in Summerlin history as the community’s first residential village. Development began in 1990 on approximately 394 acres, with The Hills Park completed before the first residents moved in. That early commitment to parks and neighborhood planning helped establish the model Summerlin would continue using throughout the master-planned community.
